Jeff Bryant, Ed.S

Jeff holds a degree in Special Education from Auburn University, a Master's Degree in School Administration from The University of South Alabama, and an Educational Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University. He has over 23 years experience as a teacher, coach, athletic director, assistant principal, and principal. While coaching at Newnan High School, Jeff earned Assistant Football Coach of the Year honors 4 times, Assistant Baseball Coach of the Year 1 time, and Head Boy's Golf Coach of the Year honors 7 times from the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association. As Principal of Cleburne County High School in Heflin, Alabama the school's athletic programs won two states championships in cheerleading and wrestling while earning an A on the state school academic scorecard. Bryant currently serves as Principal of Bowdon High School in Bowdon, Georgia. The Red Devils Football Program has won 3 consecutive football state championships, 2022, 2023, and 2024. Bowdon High School's Weight Lifting Team has also won 5 consecutive state titles. The Red Devil Softball Program also played in the state championship tournament in 2022 and 2023. The Red Devil Cross Country Team has produced a back to back individual state champion in 2023 and 2024. During Bryant's tenure, Bowdon High School has achieved a graduation rate over 94% while being named the #2 High School in highly competitive Carroll County. Despite being a small school with an enrollment just over 400 students and 25 teachers, BHS offers over 20 AP and Honors Classes with their students earning an average of 24 dual enrollment credits before graduations. Bowdon High School also offers 28 Honor Societies and Clubs for their students. Jeff's wife, Allison, is a nurse practitioner for City of Hope and they have one son, Grayson who attends Bowdon Middle School.
